STATEMENT OF TEACHING EFFECTIVENESS
As a professor, my role is to create better business professionals. I put deliberate care into how I teach course curriculum as I bring these professional and teaching experiences to bear in the classroom.
I leverage over 25 years of leading people and processes across a variety of domains. My experiences have taught me senior leaders appreciate managers who are clear and concise in their written and verbal communication, are logical, linear, and disciplined when engaged in ideation, accept constructive critique as professional development, and are accountable for their actions.
Moreover, I have coached youth sports (ages 6 to 16), been a flight instructor, and have taught at the United States Naval Academy, Texas A&M University, Indiana University, and the University of Houston. I have won teaching awards at each academic institution I have had the privilege to be employed.
